Should we electrify now, or later?

Since 2017, the 10 associations of the Electrification Alliance have spoken with one voice to push for a more ambitious transition in Europe from fossil fuels to clean and renewable energy sources.

In that time, the European Union has set some ambitious climate and energy targets with initiatives like the European Green Deal, the Fit for 55 package and REpowerEU.

Not everyone agrees on how we can achieve these targets. Should we electrify now, or later?
